Every child deserves the chance to make music
For nearly 50 years, NMPAT has taken instrumental tuition, ensembles and performance opportunities into schools and communities across Northamptonshire and Rutland. For many of the young people we work with, music is the one place in their week where they feel confident, seen, and able to shine. For families under pressure, the chance for a child to learn an instrument or be part of an ensemble can be the difference between feeling left out and feeling like they belong. When access is there, we see it ripple outwards — into attendance, wellbeing, friendships and aspiration.
Your support will ensure we continue to be one of the leading music hubs in the country, and help us expand our reach and diversify into new communities across the region.
Volunteer your time and help at our events
Our concerts and events are aided by the kindness of parents and friends who help out front of house. It’s an easy, sociable way to support your child’s music service. No experience needed, just a spare hour and a smile!
- Serving refreshments at some of our concerts as part of our annual season
- Helping with setting up and packing away
- If you can’t make it to a specific event and would prefer a rolling weekly slot, you can offer to help with the tuck shop at our Kettering Road location for our County Ensemble rehearsals
