Fresh Beats
Fresh Beats is a small class learning format for year 4, 5 and 6 students, covering the rudiments of contemporary popular music and the core elements of drumming, keyboard, guitar and vocals. All equipment is provided and schools are able to purchase their own equipment with advice from NMPAT staff if they wish.
Projects take place in weekly 30 minute sessions with 6 students at a time, over 10 weeks. The minimum booking requirement is 1 hour for 12 students. Classes can take place during the school day or as an after school club and regular performance opportunities can be built in, to fit around the needs of your school.
