Chamber Ensembles

Chamber Ensembles give students the opportunity to develop their ensemble skills – working together as a small team, often playing music specifically written for their ensemble.  They rehearse weekly during term time and usually take part in the Music for Youth Regional Festival, as well as other concerts throughout the year.

County Clarinet Choir is directed by Andy Kirkwood and rehearses on Tuesday evenings, from 5.45 – 6.45pm, in the Edmund Rubbra Hall at NMPAT.  This ensemble features the full range of instruments, from Eb clarinet to Bb contrabass clarinet, and plays music written specifically for clarinet choirs.
