Choirs

NMPAT Singers is directed by Mary Jane Dixon and accompanied by Greta Maškova.  Rehearsals take place on Wednesday evenings, from 5.45-7.15pm, in the Edmund Rubbra Hall at NMPAT.  The choir develops the vocal skills of young singers who, we hope, will be future members of the County Youth Choir.

County Chamber Choir director is Elle Thorneycroft, it is accompanied by Greta Maškova.  They rehearse on Wednesday evenings, from 6:30-8.00pm, in Room 14 at NMPAT.  The choir enables more advanced vocalists to explore new and challenging repertoire.

Guys & Dolls are directed by Jemma Adams and accompanied by Greta Maškova.  They rehearse on Friday evenings, from 6.00-7.00pm, in Room 14 at NMPAT.  This Musical Theatre chamber group explores repertoire from a wide range of styles, with a focus on acting through song, as well as vocal health.

County Youth Choir is directed by Wendy Dawn Thompson, accompanied by Steven Garfirth, with sectional rehearsals led by Adrian Taylor.  They rehearse on Wednesday evenings, from 6.45-8.45pm, in the Richard Coles Hall at NMPAT.  The Choir performs regularly at local and national festivals and, in July 2024, travelled to Spain, with County Youth Orchestra, on a concert tour.
