String Orchestras
County Junior Strings is for our youngest string players and conducted by Beth Gifford and Janine Mold. Rehearsals take place on Monday evenings, from 5.15-7.00pm, in the Richard Coles Hall at NMPAT. The ensemble provides a first experience of string orchestra playing, for young musicians who might one day be members of County Orchestras, and plays music specifically written for young string players.

County Chamber Strings is conducted by Kate Bickerdike and rehearsals take place on Tuesday evenings, from 6.00-8.00pm, in the Richard Coles Hall at NMPAT.

Concert Dress
The concert dress guidelines below are meant as a general reference. For the most accurate details, please refer to the specific event communication.
CJS: CJS branded polo shirts with black trousers/skirts and black socks/tights with clean black shoes.
CCS: All black with at least quarter-length sleeves, including clean black shoes. Any skirts/dresses should be at or below knee length, and worn with black tights.
