The night begins with a screening of Daniel Johnson’s film The Visible Influence of Windrush on Contemporary British Music and Culture. From there, the audience becomes part of the process: sharing words, sounds, stories, and ideas that will be woven into new music, poetry, rap, and spoken word.

Bring along a musical instrument, an everyday object that makes sound, or simply your voice and imagination. You can take part as much or as little as you like – whether that means singing, rapping, reading lyrics, playing your instrument, or just adding your ideas to the mix.
