DESCRIPTION:An evening of community creativity with Hip-Hop and Reggae artist\, Daniel Johnson and friends; exploring the legacy of Windrush through music\, poetry\, stories and sound. \nThe night begins with a screening of Daniel Johnson’s film The Visible Influence of Windrush on Contemporary British Music and Culture. From there\, the audience becomes part of the process: sharing words\, sounds\, stories\, and ideas that will be woven into new music\, poetry\, rap\, and spoken word. \nBring along a musical instrument\, an everyday object that makes sound\, or simply your voice and imagination. You can take part as much or as little as you like – whether that means singing\, rapping\, reading lyrics\, playing your instrument\, or just adding your ideas to the mix. \nThis is not just a performance – it’s an evening to create together. DESCRIPTION:Join us at NMPAT for the 20th anniversary of Octubafest! This free event is for all Eb or BBb Tuba\, Euphonium and Baritone players. Music available for beginners to advanced! \nRehearsals will begin at 2.30pm and the concert will start at 5.30pm. \nSign up here: https://bit.ly/OctubafestUK \nThere will be drinks (teas/coffees/squash) available throughout the afternoon.
