What we offer
As leader of the Northamptonshire and Rutland Music Hub, NMPAT provide instrumental and vocal lessons in nearly every school in the two counties. In addition, we offer opportunities for children and young people to continue their creative journey in a range of settings.
Our highly talented team of teachers are able to provide teaching on a full range of musical instruments and styles and currently teach 15,000 students in ‘First Access’ – whole class instrumental lessons or small groups.
There are 10 Saturday Music and Performing Arts Centres, open to all children and young people interested in the arts – with no experience necessary.
NMPAT run a programme of residential courses for young musicians and some of the County Ensembles. We also have an extensive programme of concerts and events throughout the year, including many regular fixtures in our calendar.
For school-leavers, there is the NMPAT Community Choir, and some Saturday Centres run groups specifically for adults. Our Little Stars programme provides opportunities for those aged 0-7 years, and Reach the Stars enables children and young people with additional needs to participate in and enjoy all kinds of performing arts.
